MANILA, Philippines — The Asenso Pinoy Party-List has launched the second wave of family food pack distribution in the National Capital Region, extending relief assistance to families affected by recent monsoon rains and calamities.
Led by party-list representative Atty. Henry “Indy” F. Oaminal Jr., the initiative facilitates the distribution of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) family food packs to vulnerable families across NCR.
The second wave aims to reach 1,100 families, providing immediate food assistance as communities continue to recover from the effects of recent calamities.
The distribution follows the group’s initial relief operations in the region and is part of its continuing efforts to support families facing difficulties in the aftermath of disasters.
Asenso Pinoy said it would continue coordinating relief efforts to help ensure assistance reaches families who need it.
“Sa harap ng kalamidad, sabay-sabay tayong babangon,” the group said, underscoring its call for collective recovery and support for affected communities.
The latest distribution highlights the continuing need for immediate assistance as vulnerable families rebuild their livelihoods and recover from disaster-related disruptions.
